Two men and a woman shot – guards outside CSK

The police regional headquarters received calls about loud bangs at Näsby at 3:44 pm. Several patrols were sent out, and at the same time more information came in that there had been a shooting.

Just over an hour later the police said that three people had been taken to CSK, a man in his 20's, a man in his 30's and a woman in her 60's. All three are said to have serious injuries.

Second day in a row

Tuesday's shootings are the culmination of a spiral of violence which began on Monday, when there was also an alarm about a shooting at Gamlegården. The police made finds which supported the theory, but nobody was found injured at the scene or in hospital. In addition there was said to have been some kind of violence in Kristianstad on Tuesday forenoon, according to the police, but no details about the incident are available.

The police believe that the incidents are gang-related, but are unable to confirm that this is the case.

– It is all linked together, I'd say. But it is difficult to say anything about just how things are connected, says Ewa-Gun Westford.
