A preliminary investigation into the suspected attempted murder is in progress, but the police would like to speak to possible witnesses.

It was shortly after 10:30 pm on Monday 4th October when the police received a call from Centralsjukhusét that a person had been brought in with stab wounds to the chest. The person's injuries were said to be serious but not life-threatening..

The victim, a young man aged 17, was reported to have been taken to the emergency department in a private car.

The police are treating the case as a suspected attempted murder.

Right from the start the 17-year-old would not give much information and told the police that he knew nothing about the incident.

– He is unwilling to co-operate in the investigation, says Anders Svensson.

There is no suspect in the case.
