Simon, 31, from Kristianstad, won Guldbagge award
The best of last year's film achievements were honoured at the Guldbagge gala at the Cirkus in Stockholm. One of the first prizewinners to take the stage and receive his Guldbagge trophy was Simon Sandin, who grew up in Kristianstad.
Dominic Andersson Bajraktari and Granit Rushiti, who both played Zlatan Ibrahimovic in 'Jag är Zlatan' (I am Zlatan), presented the prize for the best visual effects, where Simon Sandin won in competition with Jacob Danell and Crazy Pictures as well as Peter Hjorth, Peter Toggeth Karlsson and Ludwig Källén.
The 31-year-old was awarded his prize for his work in the action thriller 'Svart Krabba' (Black Crab), where most of his work consisted of giving the ice the right appearance all the time when a few soldiers tramp over it to put an end to the war in the film.
– I was really delighted. It was a good feeling when I'd spent so much time on it, Simon Sandin told Kb/NSk, talking about his nomination for a Guldbagge trophy earlier in January.
The Guldbagge was the first in his career.
