Schools may open for all pupils
Since the Easter break, pupils in upper secondary schools have been back at school again. Full-time for the third years, and every other week for the first and second years.
”We’re not cramming all the pupils in, instead, we’re trying to find a balance”Kenth Olsson, Head of the Children and Education Board
On Friday, the Children and Education Administration made a new decision. This applies to municipal upper secondary schools from week 17 until the summer holidays (if the recommendations that apply today continue).
The recommendation from Smittskydd Skåne (Disease Control Skåne) is that “at least two-thirds of the upper secondary school pupils should have face-to-face learning, that is, in school.
But in Kristianstad, the decision is to continue as before. The third years are allowed to go to school every day; the second years third years can attend every other week.
”At some schools it may be the case that all of the pupils are taken in if they think that it will work with the premises and other things”Kenth Olsson, Head of the Children and Education Board
– We’re not cramming all the pupils in, instead, we’re trying to find a balance, says Kenth Olsson, Head of the Children and Education Board.
But different assessments can be made at different schools.
– At some schools it may be the case that all of the pupils are taken in if they think that it will work with the premises and other things, says Kenth Olsson.
Pupils on the IA programme, Language Introduction and pupils in upper secondary schools for special needs will be taught in schools, just as they are today.
