Maximum eight people in the crowd – also applies to sitting

There is one exception, it applies to funerals. There, the maximum number is set at 20 participants.

– I am aware that setting a limit of eight people has a tough impact on associations, clubs and organisers. But now it's about preventing the spread of covid-19. We, therefore, have to make some difficult and painful decisions, says Anneli Hulthén.

If the spread of infection slows down, the decision may be turned over.

– We can decide ourselves when it’s time to increase the limit, hopefully, all the way up to 300, says Anneli Hulthén.

She has had a close dialogue with the Infection Control Doctor in Skåne.

– We have a huge spread of the infection in society. Therefore, efforts need to be made to reverse the trend, says Infection Control Doctor Eva Melander.

Restaurants and cafes can have more than eight people. But they must be able to keep a distance.

187 people with covid-19 are currently being treated across hospitals in Skåne. Of these, 20 people are in intensive care.
