Something happened one evening at the end of September. My colleague Sofyan Aswad was working late, until 8 o'clock. He heard some young people talking and playing around outside, but didn't think anything of it. When he went out to where his car was parked at Gamlegården. He found that both rear-view mirrors had been smashed and a front tyre had been punctured.

”Working here has been most enjoyable”
Inga-Lill Bengtsson

Kb Mosaik has had its office at Gamlegården for four fine years. A large majority of all the people we have met have been pleasant and friendly, working here has been most enjoyable. We have written both about good things and about bad. Most of all that there are so many people who want what is good, who want to make a difference. In a positive way. So it is sad when colleague's car – or anyone else's car – is not allowed to stand unharmed.

And who are able to play increasing participation and ian active part. So Kb Mosaik is important in increasing participation and raising interest in local questions. AlltMöjligt in Broby also works for greater inclusion. They have opened a meeting-place one evening a week. You can read about it on page 14. Kristianstad is going to have its first book fair with Arabic literature – read more on page 13.

Galleria Boulevard is under discussion. It is taking part in a competition to find Swede's ugliest building. More about that on page 9. A legal centre is to be built at Vattentornsvägen, with jobs for 250 people when it is ready in 2024. Read more on page 4.

The number of corona infections is rising. Epidemiologists remind people to be careful, keep their distance and stay at home if they are unwell.

Mohamed Akrim drives patients with corona. He picks them up from their homes and drives them to hospital. Every day he carries out this important, courageous task, alone in his car.

”Talk about how you would like our Swedish community to be, exchange views”

– As a fellow human being it is hard for me to look into the sick people's eyes. They have a virus that can be fatal. They may not survive it, he says. Read about him on page 6.

The county administrative board in Skåne writes that there is a ”corona fatigue” in the community. So buck yourself up with a coffee or a cuppa , enjoy a cinnamon bun and celebrate Cinnamon Bun Day.

Talk about how you would like our Swedish community to be, exchange views. Enjoy your coffee at a safe distance. For two metres seem to have shrunk during the summer. Just like my clothes.
