Dagab warns of more redundancies - 25 to go from stockroom
In January last year 130 white-collar workers were warned of redundancy, in a pre-recorded video, by Dagab (formerly Bergendahls Food). In the end about 120 jobs disappeared.
Now the firm has warned that 25 jobs are to go from the stockroom.
– The warning has gone out today. We're holding information meetings all day with all of our employees, says Marie Svaton, Dagab's head of communications, on Wednesday.
Last week it was made known that eleven probationary workers in the stockroom must go.
What lies behind this?
The background is that we have reduced the quantity of goods in our stockroom in Hässleholm, as a result of the changes in the world perspective that have taken place in 2022. We don't have quite enough work for all of our employees, says Marie Svaton.
The stockroom has about 365 permanent workers, she tells us.
