26,000 new vaccine appointments to be released in Skåne
So far, vaccination appointments for 50-59-year-olds have been released on Mondays at 9 am. The 20,000 that were released on Monday morning quickly ran out.

Region Skåne states that more appointments will be gradually released. On Thursday night, it's time again.
Then another 26,000 times will be released for people aged 50-59 years.
In total, just over 172,000 people are included in this age group. With Thursday's release, 34 per cent of the group has been reached.
– I’m glad that there is a high willingness to vaccinate. We have limited vaccine. Therefore, appointments run out quickly, says Per Hagstam, Vaccine Coordinator at Region Skåne in a press release.
– In June, we expect larger vaccine deliveries. After week 23, it will look much better. Every adult will be offered a vaccination appointment, says Per Hagstam.
To date, close to 40 per cent, i.e. over 430,000 people in Skåne have been vaccinated with a first dose.
More vaccination sites will open. Six new ones were opened on Monday, including in Åhus. Next week another four will open.
In mid-June, during phase four there will be 60 sites up and running in Skåne, i.e. for the general public aged 18-59. That group includes 600,000 people in Skåne.
