16-year-old requested to be detained in custody after the knife attack
The 16-year-old, the suspect in the knife attack at NTI high school has been requested to be detained in custody due to the two assassination attempts.

According to the prosecutor there is a risk that the 16-year-old could continue to commit crimes and sabotage the continued investigation.
When a suspect and perpetrator is under 18 years old there are particularly strict requirements for detention. The prosecutor considers there to be exceptional and special circumstances. There is no other way to arrange and provide monitoring of the 16-year-old.
The prosecutor has also requested a series of restrictions. Among the restrictions the 16-year-old is not allowed to receive visitors, he is not allowed to communicate digitally or follow the news and media.
The custody negotiations will take place later today.
