Police saw the two teenagers, aged 15 and 17, in Gamlegården centrum just before 8 pm on Monday evening.

– When the guys saw the police coming, they tried to run but we caught up with them, says Robert Loeffel.

It then turned out that the two were carrying a sharp weapon. Now, both are suspected of aggravated larceny. The 17-year-old has been detained while the 15-year-old was released due to him being a minor.

– It’s troubling to see young people walking around with sharp weapons in a public environment. It’s very unusual, says Robert Loeffel.

– Well, at least now it’s one less weapon. The police were out on a routine patrol and discovered this. They did a great job.
