Suspect released from custody
The 18-year-old who was suspected of being an accomplice in the murder at Gamlegården has been released from custody. There are several suspects in the murder investigation which is in progress.

Last Wednesday Kristianstad district court remanded an 18-year-old in custody on suspicion of being an accomplice (the less serious degree of suspicion) in the murder at Gamlegården on 19th December last year. A 24-year-old died of shot wounds.
District prosecutor Kristina Amilon, who is in charge of the preliminary investigation, made the decision to free the 18-year-old on Tuesday evening.

Is the 18-year-old still a suspect in the case?
– Yes, and the preliminary investigation is still going on, says Kristina Amilon.
There are several suspects in the case.
The murder investigation has been in progress for five months. Two perpetrators are reported to have run away from the scene of the crime.
