See the new students live at Kristianstadsbladet

The pandemic is preventing many people from being on the spot as this year’s new students come rushing out. So Kristianstadsbladet has come up with a solution. All subscribers will be able to see their nearest and dearest as they rush out, live at

– The number of spectators present at this year’s ”utspring” is strictly limited. So this seemed to be a natural solution. We want to do our bit to help as many as possible to see when the students come rushing out, says Jörgen Svensson, chief editor of Kristianstadsbladet.

Kristianstadsbladet will send live from Söderport, Österäng and Milnergymnasiet as well as from the theatre, where students from Christian 4:s Gymnasium hold their ceremony. The event will be sent live all day, starting at 10:30 am on Friday, 12th June.

The students from the schools involved can also look forward to a present from Kristianstadsbladet – every student will get a free web-subscription for one month.

Separate clips from each class will be published during the course of the day. This will enable students and relatives to go in later and watch as the students come rushing out.

Maria Sällberg, responsible for Kristianstadsbladet’s web, recommends people to log into the web in good time.

– There will be a guide in the paper edition and the e-paper telling people what to do, but you can ring to our customer centre as well if you need extra support.
