Kristianstad could get 10,000 new residents: Näsby and Charlottesborg are growing
By 2032, there could be 10,000 more inhabitants in Kristianstad. They need somewhere to live. But there also needs to be more services, streets, buses, more jobs and other things.
There is a proposal of an in-depth overview plan for how Kristianstad will grow.
– Five grocery stores, 40 stores, 26 restaurants, five schools, eight preschools, four special accommodations and a new secondary school may be needed, says Per Blomberg, Project Manager.
5,500 new residences will be built. More housing will be built in different areas; Näsby, the centre, Vä-Allasjö, Norra Åsum and Hammar/Hammarslund.
A consultation, that is, a meeting with the public, will be held on Saturday the 29th of February, at C4 shopping from 12 pm - 4 pm. Both politicians and officials will be there then, you can ask questions and make suggestions.
You can submit suggestions and thoughts until the 9th of March. There will be both maps and a box where you can submit your suggestions in the Town Hall.
You can also email your suggestions to: synpunkter.plan@kristianstad.se.
