Only people who have been admitted to hospital and people in care homes are being tested. Region Skåne has also started to test staff. So far only a few have been tested, but the rate of testing will increase. This will be noticeable in the statistics, when more people are found to be positive per day.

In all, 907 people in Skåne have or have had covid-19. 7,941 people have been tested. 90 infected people are receiving hospital treatment in Skåne. That is 12 fewer than on Monday. There are still 19 patients in intensive care, a figure that has remained stable for several days.

Until now 78 infected people in Skåne have died.
