Ten million crowns to associations in the north of Skåne

A lot of associations are experiencing economic difficulties during the corona pandemic. So Sparbanksstiftelsen 1826 has set aside ten million crowns for associations in north-east Skåne.

We can’t wait six months

Associations in the municipalities of Hässleholm, Kristianstad, Osby and Östra Göinge can apply for a grant.

– We think it is important to play a part and go on developing activities for children and young people in our four municipalities, says Östen Gunnarsson, CEO of Sparbanksstiftelsen 1826.

– We were very much in agreement. It’s now that we can support the associations. We can’t wait six months, he says.

Around 300 associations in the spheres of sports, scouting and culture can apply for a grant. The last day for application is 27th November.

– We'll be ready by the second week in December. We think this would be a sensible Christmas present for the associations.
