School won fine prize – rewarded with 25,000 crowns
Kristianstad municipality has awarded its workplace environment prize since 1995. The purpose is to direct attention to and spread information about good workplaces. The prize for 2020 goes to Fröknegårdskolan's primary classes. In its motive the jury says that the school has created a workplace that makes a difference for the future.
”Our team focuses on solutions, we don't just see problems”Joanna Lundsmark, teacher
– It's really great. It's a good school where everyone enjoys their work and does everything for the good of the children. A lot of us come in before our working day starts for coffee and a chat, says Joanna Lundsmark, one of the teachers at the school.
There are 260 pupils at Fröknegårdskolan from nursery class to class six. About 30 people work at the school. In the motive it also says that ”the school is a workplace with an attitude marked by the idea that a shared joy is a double joy, but a shared problem is only half as heavy to bear”.
– Our team focuses on solutions, we don't just see problems, says Johanna Lundsmark.
The prize is a diploma and 25,000 crowns to be used for arrangements to improve health.
