Schools go back on 18th August. To reduce the spread of covid-19 municipalities have opted for different solutions for pupils at upper secondary level.

– We’ll have teaching in school every second day, and distance studies the other days, says chief education officer Rolf Bengtsson.

HTS has around 900 pupils. Second-year pupils will attend school on alternate days, and third-year pupils will do the same. First-year pupils will go to school as usual, since they are new to the school.

Many pupils commute to Hässleholm from outlying communities in the municipality. 375 pupils commute to the school from other municipalities.

Jacobsskolan, with about 650 pupils, is not affected to the same extent. There the programmes are vocational, which makes distance studies difficult.

Hässleholm municipality introduced distance studying on 19th March.
