A 40-year-old man risks hefty fines for possession of cannabis resin.

It was in the beginning of October that the police arrested the man in central Bromölla.
He was carrying around one gram of hasch on him.

The crime is considered a petty, minor, drug offense. But the man runs the risk of having to pay large fines if he is convicted.
The prosecutor believes that the case can be decided without a main hearing in the district court in Kristianstad.
The prosecutor is proposing 30 day-fines at a total of 12 000 kronor.
