Kristianstad resident victim of identity theft – sold fake goods
A woman in Kristianstad was victim to identity theft over the weekend.

On Sunday, the woman discovered that someone had created a Facebook account in her name and was posting items such as garden furniture and lawnmowers for sale on Facebook Marketplace.

– Buyers were asked to send the payment via swish before collecting the items. They would then turn up at the woman’s house to collect the items, which she didn’t even sell. Fortunately, nobody had gone ahead and paid in advance, says Robert Loeffel, Press Spokesperson for the police.
The crime has been classified as identity theft. No suspects have been arrested.
