Explosion heard all over the city
Just before 1.30 am on Friday night, SOS received an alarm about an explosion at a company in the Björkhem area, Kristianstad. The company deals with cars. Nobody was injured.
The police wrote about the explosion on their website: "It was heard throughout the city."
– It has been classified as destruction causing public endangerment, says the on-duty investigator in Kristianstad.
No suspect had been arrested by lunchtime on Saturday. It is unclear exactly what exploded.
The company which deals with cars hopes to get an answer on who is behind it.
– We have surveillance cameras and hope to have captured someone on CCTV, says the company owners’ friend who helps out at the company.
– Someone put a bomb there or something. It's a bit crazy. I'm a little surprised more than scared, he says.
– There are no major damages.
The company is expected to be open as usual today on Monday.
