Barbershop completely destroyed in suspected arson

The alarm about the fire by Näsbychaussén came in at 00.53. Emergency services from Kristianstad and Tollarp headed to the scene. An ambulance and the police were also dispatched.

The barbershop was completely ablaze. The fire threatened the façade of the house.

Nobody was physically injured.

– Everybody managed to get out, says Freij.

The police later stated that the barbershop was completely destroyed. The cause of the fire is unknown. The incident is being classified as suspected arson.

– We have managed to prevent the spread of the fire to the house, says Patrik Freij.

The scene was cordoned off for a forensic investigation which will take place earliest on Monday. There are no suspects as of yet.

Just a few houses away, there’s a barbershop which was burned down just over a month ago.
