Alarm: People hit by train – one dead at least
Shortly before 11 am SOS was called out to Tormestorp, outside Hässleholm, where several people had been hit on the railway track by a train.

Several ambulances, police and emergency services turned out to the scene of the accident.

– A train comes along from Malmö towards Hässleholm. There are people on the track, and they get hit, says Patrik Freij, internal officer in charge at the emergency services headquarters in Kristianstad.
– It's an extremely serious accident.
The train is still standing where the accident occurred, and the driver is being taken care of after the incident.
TT: Has anyone been taken to hospital?
– No-one has been taken to hospital, we are looking into the matter and treating it very cautiously at the moment.
