A woman was tricked into believing she had had a big win - instead she was robbed of thousands of crowns
The woman got a message from a friend's Messenger account telling her that she could win a large sum of money.
But the friend's account had been hijacked by confidence tricksters who stole thousands of crowns from the woman's account..
– There are an incredible number of stolen accounts on social media platforms. Never follow any links, warns police spokesman Robert Loeffel.

The woman who was the victim of the tricksters is in her 60s and lives in Östra Göinge.
One evening earlier in the week the woman got a message from a friend via Messenger saying that she had the chance to win 25,000 crowns.
So that the winnings could be paid out she was to open her bank account, which the woman did. And a large sum of money was withdrawn from her account.
