There are several reasons to close the open preschools. First and foremost, the municipality hopes to prevent the spread of the corona infection. Parents participate in the activities.

"We know that the spread of infection is much greater among adults than children," writes the municipality. Sometimes there are many children and adults at the preschools. This increases the risk of spreading the infection.

In Näsby, the open preschool is located alongside the child healthcare centre, the BVC. If the open preschools are closed, this reduces the risk of spreading the infection there.
