Ten things to do in Kristianstad
The exhibition of Kiss memorabilia opens on 1st February. Ann Westin makes you laugh on 4th March.
In winter it’s hard for birds to find food. Take along the family to Naturum on 21st February and make your own bird-feeder. You can see amazing pictures of glaciers on Svalbard on 9th February at Regionmuseet.
And of course you must go along and cheer on our ice-hockey and handball teams – there are several matches to watch at the ice-rink or Kristianstad Arena.
Kiss – The Exhibition
What: Kiss is one of the world’s all-time greatest rock bands. The band was formed in 1973. Alexander Johansson from Falköping has collected Kiss-memorabilia which you can see now in an exhibition. Golden discs, toys, clothes, a flipper game and lots of other objects.
At the opening children will have the chance to have a rock makeover. Emelie Lindström, who is a hairdresser, has hairspray, wax, spray-on colours and face-paint.

When: Opens Saturday 1st February at 2 pm. The exhibition continues until 19th April.
Concert–Film Music
A tribute to hits of the screen. The team behind ”A tribute to Ted Gärdestad” and ”A tribute to Swedish hits” are back with a ”A tribute to hits of the screen”. An evening for all ages.
Where: Kulturkvarteret, Kristianstad.
When: Saturday 1st February at 3pm and 7 pm. Also on 14th and 15th February.
Handball: IFK–Lugi HF
What: Men’s handball, first division.
Where: Kristianstad Arena.
When: Wednesday 5th February at 7 pm.
Talk: Glaciers on Svalbard
What: David Wrangborg, photographer and nature enthusiast, give us a glimpse of the movements of Svalbard’s beautiful, fascinating glaciers. The talk is entitled ”Glaciers on the move” David comes from Åhus, and now lives in Tromsö.

Ice-hockey: KIK–Mora
What: KIK meets Mora in a first division game.
Where : Kristianstad ice-rink.
When: Wednesday 12th February at 7 pm.
Family Theatre
What: Petsson & Findus – The fox-hunt. A performance for all the family based on Sven Nordquist’s well-loved books about old Petsson and his cat Findus. A fox has stolen some of the neighbour’s hens. Findus wants to give the fox a fright instead of shooting it.

When: Sunday 15th February at 1 pm. Tickets 175 crowns.
Music: Americana
What: Concert, Americana festival. Sean McConnell from USA. Aged just 34, he has a twenty-year career behind him. He has written songs for Christina Aguilera among others, and had his first top place on the Country List USA 2018 with Brett Young’s ’Mercy’. Now he is coming to Sweden himself.
Dylan Earl, with his band from USA, was popular when he played on Stora Torg in Kristianstad in 2018. Joe Nolan from Canada was a great success in Kristianstad in 2012, and now he’s coming back.

Do-it-yourself: Make a bird-feeder
What: Make your own bird-feeder. We mix our own bird-food and turn old cups into fine bird-restaurants. Naturum has everything you need.

What: Emil Sigfridsson’s production of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s musical The Phantom of the Opera.
