Handball: IFK Kristianstad misses the SM-finals
After four straight SM-golds, IFK Kristianstad will miss the finals in handball. The team was beaten by Alingsås in three straight matches.

- I want to congratulate Alingsås, it was absolutely well deserved with 3-0 in the matches. It is our offensive that didn’t succeed against Alingsås’s very good defence, says Ljubomir Vranjes, IFK Kristianstad’s new coach.
The last coach Ola Lindgren left IFK in the middle of the season.

The third match was played at home on May 4th. The team misses both the SM finals and the Champions League games.
- I don't think that one year without the Champions League will play a significant role, says Vranjes.
- It’s about reloading and trying to play better next season. I think we have a good squad and normally we would win over Alingsås. But they have been at a different level than we have been during these three matches, he says.
