Coach operator offering free coach travel: "We have nothing better to do anyway"

The coronavirus is crippling the entire society. Many companies are almost at a standstill. That's why Röke Bus is offering free coach travel to Gekås in Ullared.

Lars Erlingsson, CEO of the family business Röke Bus in Röke, is tired of all the gloomy news.

– There are a lot of coaches and drivers here, so I thought we might as well do something fun, he says.

The tourist coaches are stationary on the gravel-yard.

– It shouldn’t look like this, they should be out and about, he says.

– We want to do something fun so people can think about something else. So both travellers and drivers get to do something fun.

Do you think that people want to go on a coach and go to a big store now?

– Yeah, you never know, it’s a gamble. But we have nothing better to do. It’s more fun to go out and about.
