His most recent post is as operative head of the emergency services in Kristianstad.

– I'm proud to be a part of Hässleholm and Osby municipalities. I'm tackling my position as head of the emergency services gladly and gratefully. I hope that I, along with my staff, will be able to help to make Hässleholm and Osby safe and secure, says Johan Wendt in a comment published on the municipalities' websites.

Petra Gummesson, municipal director in Osby, has this to say about it:

– Through co-operation within north-east Skåne Johan Wendt has already experience of the development work in our municipalities. His knowledge, driving force and involvement will be a positive addition in our continuing work, says Petra Gummesson.

For some time now the municipalities have had a system of co-operation whereby the emergency services help each other when they are called out over the municipal boundaries.
