Water must be boiled in parts of Kristianstad
People living in Näsby and Gamlegården should boil the water they use. Bacteria can have found their way into the drinking water supply during work on the pipes. The information comes from Kristianstad municipality.

The municipality issued a recommendation on Monday: People living in Näsby and Gamlegården should boil all their drinking water.

– We have been informed that contamination may have occurred during work on the municipal water supply network, says Henrik Wester, communicator at the technical department.

What is the outlook?
– The advice applies until further notice. The water has been tested, but it will take some time before we have a result.
On the municipality's homepage it says:
'”It is safe to use the water to shower and wash in, but boil all water for drinking or cooking.”
