Vaccination passport introduced in Sweden – here's how it works
The e- health authority is responsible for issuing vaccination passports.

Who is responsible for seeing to it that arrangers follow the new rules?
Länstyrelsen (the county administrative board )is the supervising authority.
– Monitoring will be the same as before. We will be out a lot to inform, advise and supervise, says Paula Hultggren, co-ordinator at the pandemic supervision unit at the county administrative board in Skåne.
What if an arranger contravenes the rules?
– We'll get in touch with them. They can be told to make changes or upgrade to comply with the rules. They will get a list of things that must be attended to, and time to carry out the changes, says Paula Hultgren.
Arrangers who do not make improvements will be given an injunction, a mandatory decision, or risk a fine.
Private arrangers can demand a vaccination passport. In Hässleholm municipality a vaccination passport will be obligatory at all cultural and leisure events, regardless of how many take part.
This is what applies as from 1st December
A vaccination passport must be shown at general gatherings and public events indoors with more than 100 participants.
No more than eight persons in any group. Those attending must have seats, groups must keep a distance of at least one metre to other groups.
A vaccination passport is issued by the e-health authority. Can be used when visiting several other countries. The passport can be downloaded from the homepage covidbevis.se. The document can be downloaded after the first dose of vaccine.
If you have not been vaccinated because of a medical condition? Then you must be able to show a doctor's certificate.
