Two women detained for attempted murder
On the evening of November 4th, the police received a call about a wounded man outdoors by Fältvägen in Näsby. A 25-year-old man was found there with cut or puncture wounds. He was taken to hospital.
The scene was cordoned off for a forensic investigation. A large search effort was carried out with the help of dogs, a police helicopter and several car patrols. A woman aged 20 and 25-years-old were arrested on suspicion of the act.
The women were remanded in custody on Sunday.
– They have both been detained. They are suspected of attempted murder on probable cause. Criminal proceedings will begin no earlier than November 20th, says Anna Johansson, Prosecutor.
–They have been detained due to the risk that they might talk to each if they are released.
The three involved know each other.
Both women deny committing the crime but have admitted that they were at the scene the same night as the attempted murder.
