Two 17-year-old still in custody after attempted murder at Gamlegården
On 3rd August a number of shots were fired from a moped or motorcycle outside the shopping centre at Gamlegården. Two men aged between 20 and 30 and a woman in her sixties were hit, but they survived the attack. For the past two weeks two 17-year-olds and a 23-year-old have been held in custody, suspected of being involved in the attempted murder.
– It attracts quite a lot of attention when three people ride on the same motorcycle. So we could follow their route and movements with the help of information from witnesses and surveillance cameras, chief prosecutor Pernilla Åström said earlier.
Another two people are under suspicion. But they have not been taken into custody. They will be questioned by the police.
The investigation can take weeks or months.
On Friday the court will decide whether the 23-year-old who is suspected of aiding and abetting the attempted murder should continue to be held in custody. The man has previous convictions for weapon- and drugs- offences.
14th October is the new date for renewing the custody order or for bringing charges.
