The verdict is ready: the coach will be suspended for over a year – "A high-level parody"

Vilan BoIS coach Johan Tinné got a red card after the away match against Bjärlöv in division 6 Northeast B two weeks ago. The judges perceived the situation as threatening. Now Johan Tinné is being severely punished. He has been suspended for one year and two months - and the association Vilan BoIS will be reviewed by the federation.

– I thought it would stop at a fine. But a year and two months… it’s the craziest thing I’ve been through”, says Johan Tinné after the shock decision.

The verdict came from Skåne’s FF's disciplinary committee on Thursday morning.

Tinné will be suspended - both as a manager and player - from September 11th 2020 to November 10th 2021.

It’s unusual for managers to receive such harsh and long punishments.

– Johan Tinné has behaved completely unacceptably. It’s usually a fine, but when it doesn’t help, we have to resort to suspension, says Göran Nilsson, Chairman of Skåne’s FF's disciplinary committee, to Kristianstadsbladet.

Skåne’s FF has had discussions about the coach several times before.

– It’s basically physical attacks, threats and much more, says Göran Nilsson.

Johan Tinné was prepared for a fine.

– The verdict is a high-level parody.

– You think about the guys on the team mainly. How can we continue running operations?

In practice, Johan Tinné runs Vilan BoIS alone. Skåne’s FF will now review how the association is managed.

– There is no board. It’s highly unlikely that it’s legitimate to run an association this way, says Göran Nilsson.

Johan Tinné doesn’t know what the future looks like today - neither for him nor for Vilan BoIS.

– It sucks. I love football, but I’ll have to learn to love something else. I love football, club life and the boys.
