Suspected preschool paedophile has also worked in Östra Göinge
The man worked as a childcare worker and is suspected of child rape and aggravated sexual assault of another child at a preschool in Kristianstad. He is also suspected of offences concerning child pornography, something he has admitted to.
On their website, Östra Göinge municipality has written that there has been speculation that the suspected preschool paedophile has also worked at a preschool in Östra Göinge municipality.
For that reason, the municipality has requested information.
In doing so, the following has become apparent: the man, who is in his 50, has not been employed in Östra Göinge municipality, but has carried out workplace training at Agnebergs preschool in Hanaskog on two occasions. This took place from 14 to 25 October 2019 and 7 to 25 September 2020.
Prior to the workplace training, the man submitted a clean criminal record to both the university concerned and the responsible supervisor in the municipality, in accordance with the procedures in force.
