”I was really angry when I found out they'd closed the case”
Ahmad Tamem

– I think whoever did this ought to be punished. The police can't take it so lightly, you must be able to feel safe at your work. I was really angry when I found out they'd closed the case, says Ahmad Tamem.

The cleaning firm ISS, where both father Abdelqader Tamim and his son Ahmad work, confirm that their employee was attacked, but do not want to make any comment on the police investigation at the moment.

They say they have clear routines for handling a situation where staff are attacked.

The incident has also been reported to the Arbetsmiljöverket (Swedish Work Environment Authority).

'They get help and support from bosses, supervisors and experts, practical help and work adapted for their needs' writes press contact Anders Fridell in an e-mail.

He cannot go into any details, and refers to the obligation to preserve professional secrecy.

An appeal against the decision to close down the preliminary investigation has been lodged with the Swedsh Prosecution Authority. The police do not want to make any comment until chief prosecutor Pernilla Åström has come to a decision.

”I haven't had time to study the details yet and can't say when that will be”, she writes in a comment to Kristianstadsbladet.
