Several masked individuals assaulted a man and smashed up a car
The police were called to Karlsgatan in Långebro shortly before 4 pm on Tuesday.
Several masked individuals are said to have assaulted a person with some sort of weapon and smashed up the car he was was travelling in.
– The car is described as being wrecked, says Evelina Olsson, Police Spokesperson.

On Tuesday afternoon, several masked individuals assaulted a man and smashed up the car he was travelling in on Karlsgatan in Kristianstad.
Some sort of blunt instrument was used in connection with the incident.

– It is unclear what kind of instrument was used, says Evelina Olsson.
The man who was assaulted is in his 30s. He was taken to hospital by ambulance. The police have no information on the extent of his injuries.
The incident is currently being investigated as aggravated assault and vandalism. The search for the perpetrators is ongoing.
– Nobody has been arrested at present; we are working on the case, said Evelina Olsson in the afternoon.
Other circumstances are currently unknown.
