Record number of covid patients in hospitals in Skåne – more have died

The pressure on the healthcare system has increased greatly over the weekend. A total of 359 covid patients are now being treated in Skåne, of which 26 are in intensive care. That is, they need respiratory aid. That is 51 more patients than there were on Friday.
At the Central Hospital in Kristianstad, CSK, 48 covid patients are now being treated. Another ward was opened a week ago for those who have been infected. There is now room for a total of 55 people.
