Ready to start building new Allö school
It is to be a 7-9 school for up to 540 pupils. Plus 50 places for pupils with special intellectual needs up to class 9.

The school will be ready in the autumn of 2025. Then the pupils from Norretull school will move to Allö school (at present some of them go to Fristorps school). Norretull school will be converted into a F-6 school for 420 pupils.
Allö nursery school will remain as it is. A sports hall will be built at the new school.

When the school is built the whitebeam trees along Vattentornsvägen must be taken down. Socialdemokraterna have demanded that the trees be left standing.
– Sometimes you have to take down trees, but if two or three can be saved, that's good, says Ulrika Tollgren (S).
Allö school
What: A new 7-9 school will be built on the Allö site at Östra Kasern. With a sports hall beside it.
Ready: Autumn term 2025.
Number of pupils: 540, plus 50 pupils in the special school.
Cost: 393 million crowns.
