She was celebrated by Sportbladet at Kristianstad's football arena. "Beta" was both surprised and happy.

– I thought that Gothenburg's coach would get it because they won the series. I share the prize with my entire management staff. I was sick in summer (had shingles on my head). There were many people that helped me then, they’re fantastic, she says in the interview.

The new Sportbladet Prize "rewards extraordinary efforts in Damallsvenskan and goes to a person who has been a role model for Swedish football".

– The Sportbladet prize goes to a person who has meant a lot to Damallsvenskan, and you have meant an incredible amount. There is no other worthy winner than you, Sportbladet's Kristoffer Bergström told "Beta" on the link.

"Beta" was also asked what has happened to her as a coach and person during all the years in Kristianstad and Sweden.

– I have probably become more humble and realistic. I was quite cocky in the beginning and said that we would win the SM-gold and that kind of talk. Now I have managed to mix the Icelandic energy with the Swedish football brain. And it’s getting pretty good, she says.
