In several articles, Kb/NSk has written about the accusations against a former top politician in Osby, which concern inappropriate sexual relations with boys and young men.

However, Kristianstadsbladet has spoken to several people who also claim that young people have received alcohol, cigarettes and money from the politician, who received nothing in return. Possibly giving the politician false hope.

In recent years, the former politician has been repeatedly seen with a young man with an alleged criminal background in Osby, usually when giving him lifts.

A few years ago, the Centre party demanded that he leave the party. The Centre Party considered it inappropriate for a politician to associate with a criminal.

Just before the man left politics, the young criminal was shot. In conjunction with this, the police tried to get hold of the politician to question him as a witness.

The police began to take an interest in the relationship between the politician and the young man following the shooting, says a person within the police. The police suspected that the politician was being blackmailed.

However, the police could not prove that the politician was blackmailed into paying money and performing services for criminals. According to the police, he has not been willing to cooperate.

– He does not want to tell us anything that could help us. If he did, we would have been able to figure this out, says the police.

The former politician himself says that he has not been blackmailed and that he has no financial troubles. He also does not agree that he was not cooperative with the police.

– I have answered their questions. I am not being blackmailed, he says.
