Outdoor swimming pools to remain open

All the outdoor swimming pools in the municipality will be open longer during the week.

– We have managed to staff all the swimming pools except in Degeberga (read: Forsakarsbadet), says Per-Olof Cartbo, Department Manager at Tivolibadet with responsibility for outdoor swimming pools in the municipality.

He says that the number of visitors during summer 2020 is like "a normal year, a lot like last year". With a fantastic end where extra staff have been called in.

And there have only been isolated incidents of vandalism such as in Tollarp.

How much longer will the outdoor swimming pools be open?

– We will see what the forecasts say, it depends entirely on the weather, says Per-Olof Cartbo.

The non-profit Torsebrobadet is also extending the season. For many days there have been a hundred people in line when the pool opened at 10 am.
