In 2016, the premises at the old Tvedegård preschool in Näsby were condemned. Children and preschool staff moved into portacabins. From there, they’ve watched a new preschool for 82 million crowns develop. On Monday, there was finally an opening ceremony for it.

– It's absolutely wonderful. Nice, fresh rooms and such large windows where we can look out into this yard where the trees have been maintained. You can see how the children’s eyes sparkle when they’re choosing what they want to play with, says Principal Annika Ericsson.

The preschool should have been ready in May. But the move was delayed until September.

– The staff have always happily made the best of the situation. There has become such cohesiveness between the staff members, Annika Ericsson.
