On Thursday 21st January Henrik Palmquist received a phone-call about corona vaccinations at the short-stay home Lyckåsa in Bjärnum.

He was told that his mother, aged 95, would not be vaccinated there because she was registered at the Vänhem health centre in Hässleholm, not at Solbrinken health centre, which administrates vaccinations at Lyckåsa.

Anette Larsson, who is in charge of the Solbrinken health centre, is not acquainted with Henrik Palmquist's mother's case.

– We've been all prepared for some weeks with staff and resources, but then we didn't get as much vaccine as we ought to have got.

Henrik Palmquist turned straight away to regional councillor Carl-Johan Sonesson (M) with his problem.

– I was told by his staff that there must be a straightforward way of solving the problem, and that things had not been done in a way that was acceptable. Today, Tuesday, I was told that my mother will receive her vaccination at Lyckåsa.
