New fast ferry to Germany
Thursday 17th September was the premiere for the ferry between Ystad and Sassnitz. During the autumn there will be 48 departures from Ystad to the island of Rügen. In the spring of 2021 there will be more.

With Skane Jet the trip to Germany takes just two and a half hours.
The ferry will run from Thursday to Sunday for six weeks in September and October. There will be a break during the winter, but the service will be resumed in the spring of 2021.
By then the shipping company FRS Baltic will have its own dock in Ystad. The timetable will be improved to be more suitable for travellers from Sweden.
