A wide area around a property on Tyringegatan had to be cordoned off. Many residents in houses and flats in the area were unable to go out, and those who were outside the barriers could not reach their homes.

David Lundin, security co-ordinator in Östra Göinge municipality, says:

– Co-operation between the police, the municipality and the emergency services was good. We could soon open Kulturhuset for people who were prevented by the police cordon from reaching their homes.
