Municipal go-ahead for security guards for bathers
On the social media and in Kistianstadsbladet's ”readers' column” people have expressed their concern about the jetty i Åhus. There are accounts of harassment, and of youths gathering in big gangs in the evenings.They decide who is to be allowed on to the jetty and who is not.

The municipality has now decided to place two security guards at Täppet, at the jetty. A guard will also be in place at the bathing area in Balsby.
There have also been reports of damage, making fires where it is forbidden to do so, leaving rubbish lying around, and of cars that drive much closer to the water than is permitted.
On Wednesday the municipal board held a meeting.

The guards will be in place afternoons and evenings for the coming two weeks, starting on Wednesday, after which an evaluation will be made.
