Mötley Crüe kicks off the party at Sweden Rock
The rock festival is sold out, and approximately 35,000 hard rock fans from out of town will visit the small village of Norje, outside Sölvesborg, where the festival takes place.
One of the festival attendees is Minister of Culture Parisa Liljestrand (M), who, among other things, listened to the Swedish band Soilwork on Wednesday.
92 bands will entertain the fans over four days, and on the opening night, the legendary hard rock band Mötley Crüe will be the main attraction. Throughout the week, Deep Purple, Iron Maiden, and Ghost will also perform at the festival.
Sweden Rock continues until June 10th.
