– Continue to keep your distance, wash your hands often and don’t meet other people if you have symptoms. It’s good if you can work from home and also think about keeping a distance if you need to travel by bus and train.

At the Central Hospital in Kristianstad (CSK), eight people have been hospitalised. There are as many people as there was earlier this summer. For a long while, there have been zero people hospitalised for Covid-19.

CSK is preparing to be able to take in even more patients.

There is now a total of 24 people hospitalised for Covid in Skåne: 2 in intensive care in Lund. The others are in Malmö (10), Helsingborg (3) and Trelleborg (1).

315 new cases have been discovered in the last 24 hours. This is twice as many as have been discovered so far in one day in October.

The number of cases per 100,000 inhabitants has increased from 20 to 59.

The total number of cases in Skåne so far is 7,438, and 284 have died.
