Men in overalls robbed Lantan - stole designer jackets worth half a million
The police had been given information that there were five robbers, wearing white overalls, masks and hoodies. According to what the police noted, at least one of the robbers is said to have attacked the staff in the shop with a heavy stick or cudgel.
A large number of exclusive designer clothes were stolen - particularly with the Parajumper label, which is one of several brands that often turn up when the police carry out house searches at criminals' homes.
But when the police got to Lantan the robbers are reported to have run out of the shop with what they had stolen, which they then, as seen on pictures from the shop's surveillance cameras, proceeded to stuff into a van with a false registration number.
Pictures from inside the shop show how one of the robbers hits out at the shop's cash desk. Staff are standing behind the desk, and a cash register seems to have been badly damaged. Several of the robbers bring big bags into the shop, and they pack these with clothes.
Today the suspects are aged between 17 and 33. So the youngest of them was only 16 when the robbery took place.
Now, almost two years after the robbery, eleven people face prosecution. Six of them are suspected of having carried out the actual robbery. According to the prosecution the robbers got away with clothes worth half a million crowns.
One 28-year-old admits to having taken part in robbing the shop, the other five deny any crime.
