Men in charge in Kristianstad
Now that two women in leading political positions in Kristianstad municipality are leaving their posts, the top municipal positions will all be held by men.Men dominate both among administrative heads and on political committees and in municipal companies.

The previous municipal director Christel Jönsson has retired and has been replaced by Anders Johansson, 56. The deputy municipal director has also left, and has been replaced by Peter Cavala, 54. So now there are only men in leading positions in the municipality, on both the political and the administrative side.
Among the political leaders, the chairman of the municipal council is male, namely Pierre Månsson (L), as are the vice-chairman, Peter Johansson (M), and the leader of the opposition, Anders Tell (S).Christina Borglund (KD) is one of the leaders in the Alliance but does not chair any of the political groups. She is however a member of the municipal council.
